Reduces chlorine, taste, and odor. Efficient and effective in removing volatile organic carbon compounds, insecticides, pesticides, and solvents. Great dirt holding capacity. This premium carbon block is designed to minimize release of carbon fines during initial flush and usage.
- Manufactured with high purity coconut shell activated carbon, then compressed into block form. Filter is wrapped with dense PP food-grade non-shedding fabric, preventing carbon fines from entering the filtered water.
- For drinking water applications.
- Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the filter.
- Flush the filter with at least 3 gallons of water prior to usage or if contains carbon, until black carbon residue disappears.
- To avoid danger of suffocation, keep plastic wrapper away from babies and children. Do not use in cribs, beds, carriages or playpens. The plastic wrapper is not a toy. Discard plastic wrapper and any other packing materials immediately after removing product.
