    Product Description & Overview

    This heavy-duty press reducing coupling joins 1-1/2" copper pipe to 1-1/4" copper pipe in seconds with a ProPress tool. An inboard bead and EPDM O-ring on each end create a clean, watertight seal with no flame, solder or flux.

    • Size and connection: 1-1/2" press x 1-1/4" press (P x P)
    • Material: lead-free copper, virgin EPDM O-ring
    • Pipe: K, L or M copper tubing
    • Water rating: up to 200 psi, 32°F to 250°F
    • Tools: compatible with most ProPress electronic, hydraulic and manual tools
    • Applications: potable water, hydronic heating and chilled water, as allowed by local code

    Why press instead of solder: no torches, tanks or flux to carry into tight spaces, and safer repairs with no open flame.

    Installation
