[FUNCTION] The cellulose sponge pads from the leak detector will expand and shut off the water supply when it comes into contact with water. This protects your existing water filtration system from having a catastrophic flood leak, saving you money for repairs and headaches.
[CONTENTS] (1) one grey open-design mechanical leak detector, (2) sponge pads, (2) mounting screws, (1) adhesive strip.
This product does not require battery power, so the product will continue to work 24/7, never worrying about the device malfunctioning without power.
[INSTALLATION] This product can be universally connected to your existing 1/4" water filtration systems supply line. To replace the sponge, flip open the lever, take out the used sponge, dry out the the leak detector, replace with new dry sponge in dry leak detector sponge holder.
Note to Buyers: For extra/spare sponge pads, must use item PT-LDS-LG. DO NOT USE sponge pads PT-LDS.
